New £3.6m network to give homeless people with hospital aftercare

Homeless people in London are set to benefit from a government-backed £3.6 million scheme designed to help them with hospital aftercare. The initiative, funded by the Department of Health, will initially provide 24 beds across the capital for homeless people leaving hospital who need follow on nursing aftercare for six to eight weeks after their discharge.
